Southern Miss Sets Football Ticket Priority Plan
Hattiesburg, Miss. - Southern Miss has assembled two of the finest home football schedules in the school?s history for the 2002 and 2003 seasons, featuring six dates at ?The Rock? each year.
However, fans hoping to watch those games, including in-state rival Jackson State, Big Ten Champion Illinois, three bowl teams from Conference USA (Louisville, East Carolina, and Cincinnati) in 2002, a grudge match with Memphis, along with Nebraska in 2003, may want to consider purchasing season tickets for the 2002 season.
The following ticket priority information is being provided so fans will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the two-year schedule, and insure themselves of tickets for the Nebraska game in 2003.
The following priorities will be used in filling the ticket orders for the current season and the 2003 season:
1. 2002 Eagle Club members who purchase season tickets in 2002.
2. Season ticket holders from 2002 will receive priority for the same number of season tickets for 2003.
3. New Eagle Club members in 2003 who purchase season tickets
4. Due to the anticipated demand for Nebraska game tickets, no single-game tickets will be available. First priority for additional 2003 season tickets will go to 2002 Eagle Club members. Should any single-game tickets be available, the priority for filling those orders will be Eagle Club members, season ticket holders, faculty and staff.
Fans are reminded that Southern Miss still has season ticket packages available for 2002 ? a six game home schedule. Additionally, for those joining the 2002 Eagle Club at levels as low as $125, parking and upgraded seating are provided. Guarantee your Nebraska ticket by getting involved now!
