Times Set For 2002 Football Schedule
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss Director of Athletics Richard Giannini has announced the starting times for the 2002 football schedule have been set, except the Alabama game on Sept. 21.
The home schedule will feature two Saturday night games at 6 p.m., Aug. 31 against Jackson State and Sept. 14 against Memphis, two Saturday afternoon games at 2 p.m., October 19 against Cincinnati and East Carolina on Nov. 30, along with an 11 a.m., Saturday ESPN game with Illinois and a Thursday night televised ESPN game against Louisville on Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m.
The away schedule will feature Saturday games at noon at Army on Sept. 28, a 2 p.m., contest at UAB on Nov. 9, a 2:30 p.m., game at Tulane on Nov. 23 and a 6 p.m., at South Florida on Oct. 12. There will be a Wednesday night game at TCU, starting at 6:30 p.m., and the time for the Alabama contest will be released at a later time.
