Southern Miss Men's Tennis Team Loses To Tulane
The Golden Eagles got wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles with David Canudas defeating Hannu Piiroinen (TUL), in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6, and Nicolas Carteret cruised to a win, defeating Alexandre Dion (TUL), 6-2, 6-2. The Green Wave won at No. 1 throught No. 4 singles, but all four matches took three sets.
Tulane clinced the match for the Green Wave after No. 67 Victor Romero defeated Miikka Kangas at No. 2 singles, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
The Green Wave captured the doubles' points, winning all three doubles.
Southern Miss returns to action, April 10, hosting Southeastern Louisiana at Tatum Park at 2 p.m.
