Golden Eagle Men?s Tennis Team Falls to LSU
HATTIESBURG, Miss.--The Southern Miss men?s tennis team lost to LSU, 6-1, Thursday at Dub Robinson Tennis Complex in Baton Rouge, La.
The Eagles only point came from David Jansson in the No. 3 singles spot when he defeated Jesse Smatt by a score of 6-3, 1-6, 6-1. The Tigers won the rest of the singles points as well as the doubles point.
LSU improves it?s record to 4-8 overall, while the Golden Eagles record drops to 3-7. The team?s next match is scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m., against Louisiana Monroe, at Tatum Park, in Hattiesburg.
