Hattiesburg, Miss. - The football game between The University of Southern Mississippi and The University of Alabama, originally scheduled for Sept. 15, has been rescheduled for Thursday, Nov. 29, at 6 p.m. at Legion Field in Birmingham, Ala. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN2.
The Southern Miss-TCU game originally scheduled for Fri., Nov. 30, was moved to Fri., Dec. 7, at 7 p.m., to make room for the Alabama game. The Southern Miss - TCU game will still be played at M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg and will be shown on ESPN2.
The Southern Miss - Alabama game was scheduled to be played on Sept. 15 but was postponed because of the tragedies that occurred in New York and Washington, D.C., earlier during that week. All NCAA I-A games that were scheduled to be played that weekend were postponed.
Tickets already purchased for both previous games will be honored for both events. Southern Miss and Alabama's ticket policies are not to refund any money for tickets.
