Eagles Set Second Spring Scrimmage

"We're so young in so many positions that we need the scrimmage work to help determine where players can help us the most," said Head Coach Jeff
Bower, following Friday's workout. "I think we've got only 12 scholarship seniors out here, and we need solid backup at almost every position. The
scrimmages give us good grading tools for making those decisions."
Unlike last Saturday's scrimmage that consisted of half regular workout and half scrimmage, Saturday's 9:00 a. m., session will consist of scrimmage
work only. It is open to the public.
The Golden Eagles are scheduled to work Tuesday and Thursday of next week prior to playing the April 7 Black and Gold Spring Game that will highlight
a busy weekend of activities associated with the spring game.
