South Florida Sweeps Lady Eagles Volleyball
TAMPA, Fla. ? The Southern Miss volleyball team lost to South Florida this evening in three straight games ? 30-26, 30-18, 30-22. The Bulls collected their eighth-straight win and have accomplished this feat while not losing a single game.
Kelly Tribble led the Lady Eagles with 12 kills. Andrea Bush finished with 11 kills, and Brynn Olsson led with 13 digs.
Michelle Collier recorded 13 kills to lead USF in the match, which lasted one hour and 25 minutes. Bonnye Glover added 11 kills, while the Bulls outhit Southern Miss in hitting percentage (.222 to .063) and outblocked the Lady Eagles (10.5 to 6.0)
Southern Miss goes to 8-18 overall, 3-12 in Conference USA action. South Florida improves to 20-7 and 12-3.
The Lady Eagle travel to Birmingham, Ala., on Sunday, Nov. 11, facing UAB at 2 p.m. in their final match of the regular season.
