Men's Tennis Team Gets First Signee
Southern Miss Men?s Head Tennis Coach Teddy Viator announced the signing of Reid Bourgeois of River Ridge, La., to a National Letter of Intent today.

Bourgeois, a 5-8 left-hander, played at Jesuit High School and helped his high school team win the 2001 state championship. He is the No. 2 ranked player in the state of Louisiana in boys 18, and is ranked No. 31 in the south boys 18 year old grouping.

?Reid is one of the best players in Louisiana this year,? Viator said. ?He is a real hard worker and we are excited to have him. We look for him to make an immediate impact for next year.?
