Golden Eagles Complete Preparation For Penn State
Hattiesburg, Miss. - Southern Miss finished its week of preparation for Saturday's game at Penn State, today, and Head Coach Jeff Bower says he's pleased with the way the team has worked.

"We've had a good week of preparation," Bower said. "I believe we are ready to play. We're happy with the way this week went, and now we need to carry it into the game and play like we have practiced. I think we will."

Bower also commented that most everybody is ready to play. "Seth Cumbie won't make the trip. He reinjured his foot, so he won't travel with us. Marchene Hatchett and Dannye Fowler will make the trip with us and be able to play. They will play on a limited basis."

The Golden Eagles will depart from Hattiesburg Friday at 1:30 p.m., and then will go through a brief walk-through at Beaver Stadium late in the afternoon. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 11:10 a.m., CT, and will be televised on ESPN2.
