DePaul Downs Volleyball In Four Games, 3-1
CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Southern Miss volleyball team lost for the second time in as many days with a 3-1 loss to
DePaul in Conference USA action Saturday night.
Lindsay Westendorf led Southern Miss (9-16, 2-10) with 15 kills and 10 digs followed by Kendall Reid-Webster with
11 kills. Crystal Zane added 10 digs. Stephanie Bishop and Melissa Nordine led DePaul (19-7, 9-3) with 13 and 12
kills respectively.
DePaul took the first game, 15-4, capitalizing on 10 Lady Eagle hitting errors. Southern Miss bounced back to take
game two, 16-14. DePaul took control and won the last two games by a score of 15-10 and 15-3.
Southern Miss returns home for a three-game homestand beginning with Jackson State, Tuesday, Oct. 31, and end the
home portion of it schedule with South Florida on Friday, and Houston on Saturday.
