During her three-year career at Southern Miss, she set five program records and still holds Southern Miss’ best all-time mark in the 55m, 60m hurdles, 100m hurdles, 4x100m relay and the shuttle hurdle relay . . . She transferred to Southern Miss from Alcorn State ahead of the 2004 season and earned a letter in all three campaigns . . . In the indoor circuit, she won gold at the Conference USA Championships in the 2005 60m hurdles (8.38) and 2006 60m hurdles (8.34) . . . She earned first team All-C-USA in both of those seasons as well as third team honors in 2007 . . . She qualified for the NCAA Championships and finished sixth in the country with an 8.10 60m hurdle time . . . The effort earned her All-American status from the NCAA and the USTFCCCA . . . Her best mark in the 55m, 7.86, is still the program record as is her 8.08 60m hurdles mark . . . Her prowess in the hurdles continued outdoors . . . By the time she graduated, she was easily the best hurdler in the history of the program and still is today . . . She collected four C-USA Championships, made six All-Conference USA teams, set the program record in three events and earned All-American status twice . . . She won Conference USA 100m hurdles gold in 2005 (13.31) and 2006 (13.11) as well as the league’s 400m hurdles title in 2006 (59.05) . . . She was also a member of the 2006 4x100m Relay team that took home gold at the C-USA Championships with a 44.60 . . . She earned C-USA First Team honors in 2005 and 2006 for the 100m hurdles and in 2006 for the 400m hurdles . . . She earned second team honors in 2005 for the 400m hurdles and was named to the third team in both the 100m and 400m hurdles in 2004 . . . Her best 400m hurdle time of 59.05 was the program record for 11 years before being broken . . . She and her teammates set the program record in the 4x100m with a 44.75 before breaking it with a 44.00 run, which is still unbeaten . . . She also holds the program’s 100m record (13.09) and was a member of the record shuttle hurdle relay team’s 58.76 . . . She twice ran in the NCAA Championship 100m hurdles in 2005 and 2006 . . . In 2004, she clocked a 13.43 and finished tied for 11th . . . As a senior in 2006, her 13.29 earned her a top ten finish and saw her named an NCAA and USTFCCCA All-American . . .
