Owen (O.B.) Bowen III (Football Administrative Assistant, 1974-2019)
Was hired by Coach P. W. Underwood prior to the 1974 season and has worked under coaches Bobby Collins, Jim Carmody, Curley Hallman and Jeff Bower during his long association with the athletic department. During his 30-plus years working with the Golden Eagle football, he has been involved in all facets of the program including working with the equipment staff, the football office administrative staff and has assisted in various other sports as well. He is considered the No. 1 fan of Golden Eagle football and is still involved in the day-to-day practice routine of that program. He is beloved by current and former coaches and players as anyone ever associated with the program.
