DeQuincy Scott (Football, 1997-00)
A four-year letterman at defensive tackle for the Golden Eagles from 1997 to 2000...An All-Conference USA selection in 2000 and a 2nd team all-league selection in 1999...Named to the All-Conference USA freshman team in 1997 after recording 54 tackles along with five tackles for losses, two quarterback sacks and two fumble recoveries...As a sophomore he had 47 tackles, five tackles for losses and 4.5 quarterback sacks...As a junior he had 41 tackles and five tackles for losses...As a senior he had 67 tackles, 12 tackles for losses and five quarterback sacks...Finished his career with 209 tackles, 27 tackles for losses and 11.5 quarterback sacks...A member of two Conference USA championship teams in 1997 and 1999...Played professionally with the San Diego Chargers (2001-2005) and the Tennessee Titans (2006)...Was also a three-year letterman on the Golden Eagle baseball team and helped lead the squad to the NCAA tournament in 1999.
