Chris Logan (Baseball 1990-94)
He was a four-year letterman for the Golden Eagles from 1990 to 1994 primarily as a catcher. He was a versatile player who had the ability to play a number of positions for the Golden Eagles. Known for his leadership skills and the hard-nosed way that he played the game, he saw considerable action as both a freshman and a sophomore when he was utilized in a number of roles. As a junior, he hit .297 with two home runs and 25 runs batted in and in his senior season, he hit .285 with a home run and 29 runs batted in. He also saw action as a pitcher for a senior pitching in 16 games with eight starts and had six complete games while posting a 7-2 record and a save. Behind the plate, he made it extremely difficult for opposing base runners to steal bases and threw out a high percentage of them that tried to steal. He was a second team all-Metro Conference selection in 1993 and was a part of the 1990 team that made the school's first ever NCAA regional appearance as well as a part of the squad in 1991 that made a second straight NCAA regional appearance.
