2026 Southern Miss Football Credential Application
Thank you for your interest in Southern Miss Athletics and in covering Southern Miss Football in the 2026 season. All media members, including photographers, wishing to cover a Southern Miss home game during the 2026 season must complete and submit the following request form. The form must be filled out in its entirety for the request to be reviewed. Please note that completion of this form does not guarantee the issuance of a credential for any game.
Credential requests for the full 2026 home schedule are available until 5 p.m. August 15. Single-game requests in this form must be submitted before 5 p.m. CT on the Tuesday before the desired home game, except for the James Madison game. Applications for the James Madison game will close on Friday, October 30. No credential applications will be accepted after this deadline.

Tuesday, August 15 - Deadline for full 2026 home schedule requests
Tuesday, September 1 - Deadline for all requests for the Alcorn State game
Tuesday, September 15 - Deadline for all requests for the UConn game
Tuesday, October 13 - Deadline for all requests for the Arkansas State game
Tuesday, October 20 - Deadline for all requests for the Louisiana game
Friday, October 30 - Deadline for all requests for the James Madison game
Tuesday, November 17- Deadline for all requests for the South Alabama game
Each applicant must be - and by completing this form is - acting in an official capacity on a sport assignment for an accredited media outlet and must have a legitimate working reason to attend the game requested. Freelance photographers and reporters not affiliated with an official news gathering outlet will not be granted credentials for any Southern Miss events. All photographer credentials must be requested through or in affiliation with an accredited outlet. All credentials are nontransferable and may be revoked at any time. Any unauthorized use of issued credentials may subject the offender to ejection from the stadium and permanent revocation of any and all future credentials to Southern Miss events. Credentials may be revoked at any time.
Credentialed media will not be permitted to stand along the sidelines of the game field during play except when making their way to the postgame press conference with four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Only professional photographers are permitted on the field in designated areas during play and are required to wear identifying vests. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in credentials being revoked.
Credentials will not be mailed and instead are available for pickup from the Southern Miss Athletic Communications Office during the week from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Beginning on the Wednesday before each home event. Credentials will be issued on a game-by-game basis, even for outlets approved for season-long coverage. Credentials not picked up from the office will be available at the M.M. Roberts Stadium Box Office on the southwest side of the stadium.
Parking passes will be issued digitally on a week-by-week basis through the applicant's listed email.
If requesting credentials for multiple parties, please make sure to denote each person's role and list them in order of credential preference. As a rule, outlets are limited to no more than three credentials, which include a writer, photographer and videographer. Individual credential assignments for approved media should be determined by the outlet.
