Ross White moved the assistant director of creative media role in September 2023 and assists with content production for all Golden Eagle teams and social media accounts. White directly oversees content creative and distribution for women's basketball and baseball as well as the overarching social media strategy for the department.
A native of Harrogate, North Yorkshire (United Kingdom), White first moved to the United States in 2017 to attend Genesee Community College in Batavia, N.Y. A two-year starter as a defender for the Cougars, White amassed 37 starts while playing in 44 games. In his freshman season, White propelled the Cougars to a 20-2-1 and contributed to a defense that allowed just 14 goals over the entire season. GCC ended the 2017 campaign atop the NJCAA Division III world after a 2-1 victory over Richland College in the national title game. In his sophomore season, the Cougars finished 18-4, falling to familiar foe Richland College in the NJCAA semifinals.
After completion of his degree, White transferred to Harding University (Searcy, Ark.) for the 2019 season. In his first season in the Natural State, White made 12 appearances and five starts for the Bisons, notching one goal (at Northeastern State, 11/7) and one assist (vs. Oklahoma Baptist, 10/19). White sat out the COVID-shortened 2020-21 season due to injury, but did take over as a social media manager for the Bisons Athletic Department while working as a student assistant.
Graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in sports management from Harding in fall of 2021 before joining the Golden Eagle Creative Content Department in January 2022. In May 2023, White received his Master of Communications degree from The University of Southern Mississippi.
