Grace Chelemen joins the Southern Miss Softball program as a graduate manager for the 2024 season.
Chelemen comes to Hattiesburg after graduating from Marshall University, where she had a decorated four-year playing career. She appeared in 162 games with 148 starts for The Herd, recording 155 hits and 93 RBIs wuth a career .336 batting average.
Chelemen also spent her freshman season in her home state, playing 36 games for the Michigan Wolverines.
Chelemen graduated from Riverview Community High School, where she spent her junior and senior years and earned a pair of district titles in 2017 and 2018. She earned all-district, all-region Dream Team and All-Huron League Honors.
Chelemen is originally from Woodhaven, Mich. She is the daughter of Helen and Anthony Chelemen and has a younger sister, Isabella.
