Rice (2021): Played in 10 games, making seven starts down the stretch in 2021…Tallied 43 tackles (24 solo), registering 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks…Forced one fumble, recovered one fumble…Blocked a kick against Charlotte (11/06)…Season-best seven tackles twice against UTSA (10/16) and WKU (11/13).
Northwest Mississippi CC (2019-20): Earned All-MACCC honors in 2020 after a 37-tackle performance at NWMCC…Registered four tackles for loss with 1.5 sacks…Also had one interception and two pass breakups along with one fumble recovery and blocked kick…Helped Northwest to the MACCC title during the COVID-year, winning the State Title over Mississippi Gulf Coast…Tallied 27 tackles with two tackles for loss and a sack in 2019…Also had one quarterback hurry and pass break up…Recovered one fumble…Earned All-MACJC and All-NJCAA academic honors.
High School: Prepped at Clinton High School for coach Judd Boswell…Played both ways on the gridiron…As a senior in 2018, caught 29 passes for 420 yards and four touchdowns…On the defensive side, tallied 43 tackles with 14 for loss…Also recorded five sacks and two picks…Earned 6A All-State First Team laurels as a linebacker and Second Team laurels as a wide receiver from the Mississippi Association of Coaches…Selected to the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star Game as a tight end, helping Mississippi to a 24-20 win in Montgomery…Also earned MSPreps/Clarion-Ledger All-State honors…Member of the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
