Men's Basketball Finalizes Non-Conference Schedule for 2024-25 Season

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's basketball team released its full non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday afternoon.
The schedule features six home games at Reed Green Coliseum. The season opener is slated for Nov. 4 against Bowling Green. Other home games feature Loyola New Orleans, Milwaukee, Alabama State, Lamar and William Carey. The contest against the Crusaders is slated for Dec. 30 and is cushioned between Sun Belt Conference games around the holiday break.
Southern Miss travels to UAB for the second game of the season on Nov. 7, and will then depart on a three-game road trip that starts at South Dakota State on Nov. 20. The Golden Eagles will travel to Bozeman, Mont. to play Montana State and Abilene Christian on back-to-back days. Southern Miss is also traveling to Tulane on Dec. 10 and will meet Ole Miss on Dec. 14 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
The Golden Eagles also travel to a MAC school - named at a later date - on Feb. 8 for the MAC-SBC Challenge. Southern Miss will also play in two preseason exhibition games against New Orleans and Jackson State. Southern Miss will travel to New Orleans on Oct. 22, while the contest against the Tigers is slated for Oct. 28 at Reed Green Coliseum.
