HATTIESBURG, Miss. --Â From Clarence Weatherspoon to Wendell Ladner, Southern Miss has had a storied tradition of sending its student-athletes to the next level in men's basketball. Below is a report of former Golden Eagle players that are playing professionally at this time or have played professionally in the past year.Â

Felipe Haase joined the Mexico City Capitanes of the NBA G League last month. The Capitanes are 2-0 on the season, while Haase has started both games. The Chilean is averaging 26.8mpg and has scored three points. Haase grabbed nine rebounds and dished out two assists thus far.Â
Victor Iwuakor and Bisons Loimma fell in their last outing. Despite his very good performance Bisons were edged 102-100 at home by the second-ranked Seagulls. Iwuakor had a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. He also added 3 blocks. The first-year pro is averaging 13.4ppg, 7.7rpg, 2.1bpg and 2.1spg in nine games.
Boban Jacdonmi led Mataro UE to a three-point victory over the sixth-ranked Benicarlo (3-2) 79-76 in the Spanish Segunda FEB (third division) on Saturday night. He was MVP of the game. Jacdonmi had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds. Homs Rentals UE Mataro (2-3) is ninth in the East. It was his team's first victory after three consecutive losses. Jacdonmi stats this year are 10.6ppg and 5.2rpg in five games.Â
DeAndre Pinckney couldn't help Hapoel Shoval Haifa (1-4) in their game last Monday. Despite Pinckney's very good performance, Hapoel Shoval Haifa was defeated 89-79 in Ramat Gan by the higher-ranked Ramat Gan (#5). He was the top scorer with 16 points. Pinckney also added 9 rebounds in 30 minutes. He is averaging 13.7ppg and 7.0rpg.
Austin Crowley led Craiova to a victory over the league outsider Galati 91-83 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. He was MVP of the game. Crowley recorded 23 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and made 2 blocks. Crowley averages 15.4ppg, 5.5rpg and 2.5apg in eight games.
Donovan Ivory managed to help CSO Voluntari to a win against Spisski Rytieri, crushing them 104-80 in the European North Basketball League on Wednesday night. Ivory recorded 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 20 minutes. This season he is averaging 3.0ppg and 2.7rpg.
Cortez Edwards contributed to an easy victory against Honved, 81-64, in the Hungarian A Division in Saturday night's game. He scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Edwards is averaging 12.8ppg, 5.2rpg, 5.0apg and 1.6spg in nine games.
Tyler Stevenson and Constanta (0-5) fell in their game last Wednesday. Despite Stevenson's very good performance, Constanta lost 104-77 on their home court in Constanta by the second-ranked Fribourg. He was the second-best scorer with 17 points. Stevenson also added 4 rebounds in 30 minutes. The former Golden Eagle is averaging 10.3ppg and 6.3rpg.
