Softball Inks Eleven on National Signing Day

HATTIESBURG, Miss.-Southern Miss Softball head coach Natalie Poole and her staff officially welcomed 11 new members to the program on National Signing Day, which occurred Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles' 2025 signing class includes Issie Coker, AC Cox, Emma Day, McCall Davis, Julia Glasgow, Madilyn Graham, Ava Nehring, Jadyn Rausch, Ava Segura, Carlee Tubbs and Briley Whittington, featuring a dynamic mix of in-state talent and top players from across the South.
Issie Coker | McComb, Miss. | C | Parklane Academy
Coker will join the Golden Eagles from Parklane Academy in McComb, Miss., where she earned multiple accolades throughout her high school career. In 2021, she was named to the 1st Team District 1 6A All-Conference and 1st Team District 1 6A All-MAIS, following a 2nd Team District 1 5A All-Conference selection in 2020. She was also honored with selections to the All-MAIS Pre-Season 'Top 20' Team, All-MAIS Pre-Season Fastpitch Softball Team, and MAIS Fastpitch Futures Team in both 2022 and 2023. During the 2023 season, Coker posted an impressive .517 batting average, with 15 hits, 15 RBIs, and six runs in 29 at-bats over ten games. She also maintained a perfect fielding percentage with 75 putouts as a catcher. Coker also has club experience for Impact Gold National 2025-Cassatta.
Adryan Cox | DeWitt, Ark. | UT | DeWitt High School
Adryan Cox, known as 'AC,' wrapped up last season at DeWitt High School in DeWitt, Ark., with an impressive .542 batting average and .558 on-base percentage, tallying 45 hits and five home runs. Her standout season helped lead her team to a conference championship and a state semifinal appearance. A versatile player excelling as both a shortstop and utility, Cox is regarded as one of Arkansas's top talents and even earned national recognition, ranking #37 on Extra Inning Softball's 2025 Extra Elite 100 Player Rankings. Cox's athletic achievements span multiple sports, with All-Conference honors in softball, track, and basketball, as well as All-State recognition in both softball and basketball, where she surpassed 1,000 career points. In track, she captured district titles in long jump and pole vault and was runner-up in high jump and the 4x100 relay. Cox has also competed with Impact Gold National 2025-Cassatta, joining four teammates who have signed to Southern Miss.
Emma Day | Kentwood, La. | IF | Oak Forest Academy
Day will join the Golden Eagles as a standout multi-sport athlete from Oak Forest Academy in Amite, La., competing in softball, basketball and track. Day has been a varsity softball starter since 7th grade, helping lead her team to a state runner-up finish and a conference championship, and earning 1st Team All-State and 1st Team All-Conference honors in 2022. Day led the Yellowjackets in 2024, batting at .563 with 40 hits, 34 RBI and 10 home runs, earning a spot on the 5A All-MAIS team. She was ranked 21st overall and 18th among infielders in Extra Innings' 2025 class rankings. Day also brings seven seasons of club experience, including most recently playing for the Impact Gold National 07 team.
McCall Davis | Lavonia, Ga. | P | Franklin County High School
Davis will join the Golden Eagles following a decorated career at Franklin County High School, where she earned varsity letters in soccer, track, tennis, and softball. A dominant force on the mound, Davis recorded over 500 career strikeouts and is a four-time All-Region honoree. In 2022, she was named the Georgia 3A Region Pitcher of the Year, recording 159 strikeouts over 105 innings.
Julia Glasgow | Canton, Miss. | UT | Germantown High School
Glasgow will join Southern Miss from Germantown High School, where she has recorded over 150 career hits, 63 RBIs, and a .469 batting average. As an 8th grader, she earned a spot on SBLive's 2021 Mississippi All-State Softball Team, batting .468 with 19 RBIs, 24 runs, and 16 stolen bases. In 2020, Glasgow was named a USA All-American and received All-State 2nd Team honors. She also played club ball for Impact Gold National 2025-Cassatta.
Madilyn Graham | Stringer, Miss. | P | Stringer Attendance Center
Graham will join Southern Miss as a standout athlete from Stringer Attendance Center, known for her presence both at the plate and in the circle. Over five years of varsity play, Graham has recorded 137 hits, including 40 doubles and 124 RBI, maintaining a .383 batting average. In the circle, she has tallied over 700 strikeouts across 516 innings pitched. In 2023, Graham posted a career-high 230 strikeouts and earned 16 wins. She also lettered in volleyball and played club ball for Impact Gold National 2025-Cassatta.
Ava Nehring | Baton Rouge, La. | C | Central High School B.R.
Nehring will join the Golden Eagles as a First Team All-District and First Team All-Metro catcher from Central High School in Baton Rouge, La. She has also played for the D1Vision 16U and 18U National Teams.
Jadyn Rausch | Dothan, Ala. | C/UT | Houston Academy
Rausch will join the Golden Eagles following her decorated career at Houston Academy, where she has helped lead her team to a 3A State Championship in 2022 and a 4A runner-up finish in 2023. Over three years of varsity play, Rausch has recorded more than 130 career hits, including 28 doubles, 10 triples, 14 home runs, and 134 RBI, along with 37 stolen bases.
Ava Segura | Lafayette, La. | IF/UT | St. Thomas More High School
Segura is a versatile utility player from St. Thomas More Catholic High School in Lafayette, La., where she has earned 1st Team All-State, All-Area and All-Conference honors, while helping her team secure state, conference, sectional and regional titles. Segura Segura has five seasons of club experience, most recently playing for the Top Gun Academy (18U National).
Carlee Tubbs | Brandon, Miss. | OF | Northwest Rankin High School
Tubbs has had an illustrious career at Northwest Rankin High School, where she helped lead her team to back-to-back state championships. In her junior year, she posted an impressive .420 batting average with 37 hits and 24 RBI. Tubbs is one of five players from the Impact Gold 2025 team who will be joining Southern Miss.
Briley Whittington | West Monroe, La. | P | West Ouachita High School
Whittington joins Southern Miss' pitching staff from West Ouachita High School, where she recorded 165 strikeouts over the last two seasons. Whittington has extensive club experience, having also played for the Impact Gold National 2025 team.
