Men's Basketball Hosting Annual Tip-Off Event at Brewsky's Oct. 23

HATTIESBURG, Miss. --Â The Southern Miss men's basketball team is holding its annual preseason event at Brewsky's on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 6 p.m. Admission to the event is free and doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Fans of all ages are invited to enjoy free hot dogs, chips and soft drinks. Seymour, Cheer and the Southern Misses will also be on hand to greet attendees. The event serves as the first opportunity to see the Golden Eagles' 2024-25 squad as sixth-year head coach Jay Ladner introduces each player. Players will be available for autographs during the event and posters will be available for fans.Â
Southern Miss opens its season with an exhibition at New Orleans on Tuesday, Oct. 22. The Golden Eagles then host Jackson State on Monday, Oct. 28, with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. Details regarding that charity game will be available soon. Single game and season tickets are available via SouthernMissTickets.com, calling 1-800-844-TICK or visiting the Pat Ferlise Ticket Office during normal business hours.Â
