Men's Basketball Travels Down Highway 98 to South Alabama for Thursday Night Tilt

HATTIESBURG, Miss. --Â The Southern Miss (23-4, 12-2 SBC) men's basketball team will take its first-place foothold in the Sun Belt standings to South Alabama (13-14, 6-8 SBC) on Thursday night for a rivalry game at the Mitchell Center. Tipoff in Mobile is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

- Through 14 Sun Belt games, the Golden Eagles are off to their best conference start in program history since turning Division I. The 1949-50 NAIA team had 14 wins in conference play
