Southern Miss Athletics Cuts Ribbon on Baseball’s New Video Board

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss Department of Athletics, along with sponsors Forrest General Hospital and The First, A National Banking Association, held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Southern Miss Baseball Video Board prior to the May 11 baseball game against Ole Miss.
A record-breaking crowd of 6,346 saw firsthand the newest addition to the facility, as Pete Taylor Park continues to solidify itself as one of the finest baseball facilities in the nation.
Joining Southern Miss president Dr. Rodney Bennett, Director of Athletics Jeremy McClain and baseball coach Scott Berry for the on-field ceremony were JJ Fletcher, Chase Blankenship, Wes Rouse and Eric Waldron of The First and Jeff Cook, representing Forrest General Hospital.
