HATTIESBURG, Miss. (August 12, 2021) – Defensive back Camron Harrell, offensive lineman Bryce Foxworth and wide receiver Jason Brownlee were named to the 2022 Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List on Thursday. The Reese's Senior Bowl is an annual all-star game for the nation's top seniors.
Harrell saw action in all 10 games last season after transferring from the College of Dupage. The Bradley, Ill. native recorded 29 total tackles and four tackles for loss in 2020. Against Florida Atlantic, Harrell returned a kickoff for a 100-yard score in the third quarter that proved to be the winning score. He also had two fumble recoveries.
Foxworth, a Pinellas Park, Fla. native, has started in 20 of the 37 games he's appeared in throughout his Golden Eagle career. Foxworth has started 15 games dating back to the 2019 campaign. He helped lead the Golden Eagles to the best passing attack in Conference USA as they averaged 289.5 yards per game in 2019. Foxworth helped pave the way for running back Frank Gore Jr., who was selected to the 2020 Conference USA Second Team and Conference USA All-Freshman Team.
Brownlee, a West Point, Miss. native, recorded 34 receptions for 610 yards in 2020. The East Mississippi Community College product started nine games in 2020. Against Tulane, North Texas, and Liberty, Brownlee exploded for 344 yards and three scores during that stretch – all three were 100-yard receiving games. He added touchdowns against Louisiana Tech and FAU.
The Reese's Senior Bowl had 106 total players drafted and 36 selected in the first three rounds this year's NFL Draft. The 106 figure represents 41% of the NFL Draft. This year's game will be held February 5, 2022 and broadcast on the NFL Network. Practices will be live on ESPN and NFL Network hosts a daily recap show each evening in primetime.
The Golden Eagles open the season Saturday, Sept. 4, at South Alabama.
