Julian Allen on XFL Opening Day Roster for Dallas Renegades

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Former Southern Miss tight end Julian Allen (Sewell, N.J.) made the opening day roster for the Dallas Renegades of the XFL, which kicks off its season this weekend.
Allen lettered for the Golden Eagles in 2016 and 2017 and appeared in 24 career games. He caught 22 passes for 298 yards and a touchdown during his tenure with the program.
Following the completion of his collegiate career, Allen participated in the 2018 training camp for the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent.
Allen and his Renegades' teammates open the season at home this Sunday, Feb. 9, against the St. Louis Battlehawks. The game can be seen on ESPN.
