Football Announces Game at Florida State for 2023

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss and Florida State announced Tuesday that the two schools will meet for a single football contest on Sept. 9, 2023, at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Fla.
The 2023 Golden Eagle non-conference schedule now includes a home game with Tulane and a road tilt at Mississippi State.
The Golden Eagles last played the Seminoles in the 2017 Walk-On's Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La., and will travel to Tallahassee for a football game for the first time since the 1996 campaign.
Southern Miss trails in the series 14-8-1, which dates back to the 1952 campaign.
