Men's Basketball's Trip to MKE Classic Canceled Due to COVID-19

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss men's basketball team was slated to begin its season Saturday and Sunday (Nov. 28-29) at the MKE Classic in Milwaukee has been canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test within the host program.
The Golden Eagles would have faced defending Summit League champ North Dakota State on Saturday, followed by Milwaukee Sunday.
As it stands now, the season opener is Wednesday, Dec. 2 at home against William Carey (7 p.m.).
