Southern Miss to Host Virtual Salute to Armed Forces for Nov. 7 Football Game

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- With safety precautions in place for the 2020 season, Southern Miss' annual Salute to Armed Forces game will have virtual recognitions for servicemen and servicewomen.Â
Kickoff against North Alabama is set for 2 p.m. Veterans and active duty military members stationed domestically or abroad can submit videos giving a shout-out in support of the Golden Eagles. Those videos will be displayed on the videoboard throughout the game. Photos can also be displayed as well.
Those looking to take advantage of this opportunity can submit video and photos to Brad Smith at brad.j.smith@usm.edu and Murray Littlepage at murray.littlepage@usm.edu.
