Golden Eagle Hotline with Jay Hopson Set to Debut at Walk-Ons on Mon., Aug. 26

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Golden Eagle Hotline, featuring Southern Miss football coach Jay Hopson, returns to Walk-On (4400 Hardy St.) each Monday during the regular season starting Aug. 26.

The one-hour program, hosted by the Voice of the Golden Eagles John Cox, takes place from 12-1 p.m. Each week's show will be broadcast later in the day from 7-8 p.m., on the affiliates of the Southern Miss IMG Sports Network by Learfield, including flagship station, WXRR-FM, Rock 104 in Hattiesburg/Laurel.

Each week, Hopson and Cox will review the previous week's game, go over the upcoming opponent as well as everything happening within the program.

Fans at the restaurant can ask questions during the show via a microphone that will be available to the audience, while fans can send their questions in prior to the show's start time by either Twitter (@USMGoldenEagles), Facebook (Southern Miss Athletics) or email (southernmissathletics@gmail.com).
