Southern Miss Softball at Southeastern Louisiana Cancelled Due to Unplayable Field Conditions

The first pitch between the Golden Eagles and the Lions was originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. (CT).

HAMMOND, La. – Wednesday night's midweek contest between the Southern Miss Golden Eagles and the Southeastern Louisiana Lions was cancelled after the field at North Oak Park in Hammond, La. was deemed unplayable due to field conditions.

At this time, no makeup date has been scheduled.

The Southern Miss softball team will now return to Hattiesburg to make their final preparations before departing for Denton, Texas to being Conference USA play against North Texas.

Southern Miss and North Texas will square off in a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m. (CT) on Saturday, March 9 and will then play a single game at 1:00 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, March 10.
