2018 Football Promotional Schedule – Nov. 17 vs. Louisiana Tech

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Each week this summer, Southern Miss will release the game day promotions for each game as well as share changes to game day for the 2018 season. To see promotions of other games, see below.
On Nov. 17, the Golden Eagles host Louisiana Tech to close out their home schedule. The game will take on added meaning as the teams will meet for their 50th meeting. For the rivalry, the game will be a blackout. Fans are encouraged to wear black as the Golden Eagles hope to take over the night. The final game will also mark the end of distinguished careers for all of the Southern Miss seniors. Fans are encouraged to arrive to their seats early as Seniors and their families will be recognized before the game with a pre-game ceremony.
It is also School Day, as area schools are taking part in the Southern Miss Community Fundraising program. Schools will be selling $10 tickets throughout the season with half of the money going to support their school. Southern Miss will recognize the individual and school winners at the game. It will also be the Middle School/High School football day as teams can get free admission to the game by submitting a roster to Southern Miss Athletics Marketing in advance.
The Louisiana Tech game marks the Seymour Sidekicks Appreciation game. Seymour Sidekicks Kids Club members can receive free admission for them and a parent and enjoy a pre-game tailgate with free food for the Sidekicks member. It costs $25 to be a Seymour Sidekicks member, and members receive a kids club t-shirt, admission into Junior Eagle Fun Land in Spirit Park for each game, invitations to pre-game parties with free food, and free tickets to select games, as well as all Women's Basketball, Softball and Volleyball games. Southern Miss will also celebrate their season ticket holders with Season Ticket Holder Appreciation. Season ticket holders will be eligible to win prizes throughout the game and Season Ticket Holders will be recognized on-field for being season ticket holders for 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 consecutive seasons. Finally, the game will also be Faculty/Staff Appreciation. Southern Miss employees can receive discounted tickets to the game and there will be special recognitions during the game celebrating the hard work of Southern Miss faculty and staff.
The game will also be the annual M-Club Hall of Fame ceremony. Southern Miss will induct new members to the M-Club Hall of Fame, recognizing the accomplishments of deserving athletes from their time at Southern Miss. The annual weekend includes an induction banquet the night before the game as well as pre-game and in-game festivities.
Last season, the University of Southern Mississippi announced new safety measures, including a clear bag policy and an updated golf cart policy. Fans can also continue to take advantage of the Season ticket holder referral program. For each successful referral, the original season ticket holder will receive their choice of a $20 future credit on their ticket account up to $200 or a $20 voucher for concessions in M.M. Roberts Stadium up to $100. On the 10th successful referral the fan will receive a personalized Southern Miss football jersey. On the 15th successful referral, the fan will receive an all-inclusive trip to a road game. Season Tickets start at $110 per seat and are the best deal on tickets. Season Ticket holders receive access to exclusive events, discounts on additional single game tickets, priority access to post season tickets, the same seat for every game and prizes and giveaways throughout the year.
