Men's Basketball announces summer youth camp dates

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Miss men's basketball head coach Doc Sadler has announced dates and times for the program's 2018 basketball camps in June.
"The main objective of basketball camp is basically three things," head coach Doc Sadler said. "You want the kids to have fun, learn the game and most importantly meet new friends. If we can succeed in those three areas, then I think we've had a good camp."
All check-ins will be 30 minutes prior to the start of camp. All Southern Miss faculty and staff can receive 50 percent off camp rates for their immediate children.
Registration can be done one of several ways, including submitting the form and payment in person at the Reed Green Coliseum basketball office, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or mailing to:

Little Dribblers Camp
Wednesday, June 20 - Friday, June 22
Ages 6-9
9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Focuses on beginning basketball campers, including both fundamentals and competition with lowered baskets ($75).
Ballhandling and Shooting Camp
Friday, June 29
Ages 9 - rising seniors
9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Focuses on offensive fundamentals of the game. Shooting, dribbling and passing techniques are taught to each camper ($50).
Individual Skills
Monday, June 25 - Thursday, June 28
Ages 9 - rising seniors
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Features fundamentals along with daily competition and games. All skill levels accepted. Lunch will be provided ($175).
