Football Signs Home-and-Home Series versus Liberty

The Southern Miss Department of Athletics announced an agreement Wednesday for a home-and-home football series with Liberty.
The Golden Eagles travel to Liberty, Oct. 24, 2020, while the Flames travel to Hattiesburg for a Sept. 3, 2022 date.
Liberty, which currently is transitioning to the Football Bowl Subdivision level, gains full status in 2019.
The two schools have never met in the sport of football.
