Southern Miss Softball Game Suspended Until Sunday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss softball's first game of the Black and Gold Invitational got suspended due to rain in the bottom of the fifth with one out, with a 2-1 lead.
Offensively, the Golden Eagles had two runs on four hits. Tori Dew had a go ahead double just minutes prior to the game being called.
In the circle, Jillian Johnson had her second start on the season pitching four complete innings before Samantha Robles came in as relief and struck out two of the three batters she faced.
The game will be picked up Sunday Feb. 18 at 11 a.m.
