Men's Basketball Hosting Free Kids' Clinic Oct. 11

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss basketball program has announced a free kids' basketball clinic on Tuesday, Oct. 11. The clinic is open to both boys and girls from grades K-6. The clinic will be held from 4 - 5:30 p.m. at Reed Green Coliseum, and will include a photo and autograph session with players and coaches after the clinic concludes.
"This clinic is great for the kids in our community," head coach Doc Sadler said. "The clinic allows the participants to interact with our players and learn valuable basketball fundamentals. Our staff and players always look forward to a great time with the kids."
Drop off and pickup to Reed Green Coliseum will be via M.K. Turk Circle and via the basketball hallway entrance between the coliseum and the Payne Center. To reserve your spot, fill out the registration form and return via fax to (601)266-6690 or via email to norma.burke@usm.edu. Southern Miss opens its basketball season on Thursday, Nov. 3 with a home exhibition game versus Mississippi College. The regular season begins Friday, Nov. 11.
