Upcoming: Scrimmage in M.M. Roberts Stadium, Saturday at 7 p.m. (closed to general public)
Report: The team's third two-a-day of the week went smoothly. The afternoon session was energetic, but relaxed as the team prepared for its Saturday scrimmage (second of camp). D'Nerius Antoine and Xavier Marion intercepted passes early in the nightcap and Allenzae Staggers bolted for a long touchdown grab. Early afternoon rain forced the Golden Eagles to move to the turf.

On how the day went...
"Good day. We kind of had a lot of team situations, and the scrimmage is tomorrow."
On how the team fared after its busy week...
"We had good energy, but it wasn't a real high intensity practice this morning doing a lot of things. We had good teamwork. Tomorrow is a big day."
On what the staff will look to see in the Saturday scrimmage "I think the battles are settled for the scrimmage. We will make decisions on who the true ones and true twos are. It'll be the tale of the tape to figure out where we are."
On what position groups will be analyzed the most...
"Offensive line always. Also, looking out wide at receivers and the linebackers to see who steps up there. There are always more, but those are the two or three that stand out on the top of your head."
