Final Men's Basketball Exhibition Slated for Monday Night

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Golden Eagle men's basketball team will have its final exhibition game Monday night when William Carey makes a crosstown trip to Reed Green Coliseum for the 7 p.m. contest.
Southern Miss is 8-1 all-time in the regular season against the Crusaders in a series that began in 2003.
Five Golden Eagles scored in double-figures last Friday night as Southern Miss defeated Mississippi College 96-95 in double-overtime. Seniors Quinton Campbell and Raheem Watts led the way with 17 points, while transfers D'Angelo Richardson and Bilal Abdur-Rahim each contributed 13 in their first Black and Gold action. Tim Rowe added 12 points, and Cortez Edwards had a game-high eight assists.
John Cox will have the radio call on the Southern Miss IMG Sports Network. Southern Miss begins its 2016-17 regular season Friday night at 7 p.m. when it hosts Tougaloo.
