Southern Miss Football Alum to Pilot Pregame Flyover Saturday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Miss' Military Appreciation Day became even more decadent with the news that former Golden Eagle football letterwinner Maj. Kendall Dunn will pilot a flyover prior to Saturday's 2:30 p.m. CST football game versus Charlotte.

The flyover will take place moments after Southern Miss football team makes its entrance onto the field.

Dunn is with the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron and will be taking his C-130J aircraft from Keesler Air Force Base's 403rd wing. He played at Southern Miss from 1994-97, winning Conference USA titles each of those last two seasons.
