Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic Tickets on Sale

HONULULU, Hawaii -- Entering its eighth year, the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic returns to the Stan Sheriff Center, where it has become a holiday tradition for basketball fans. The eight-team tournament will be held December 22, 23 & 25.
Joining host Hawai`i in the 2016 field are Illinois State, San Diego State, San Francisco, Southern Miss, Stephen F. Austin, Tulsa and Utah. Five of the participating teams appeared in the 2015-16 postseason, including Hawai'i, San Diego State, Stephen F. Austin, Tulsa and Utah. Illinois State was eligible, but declined postseason invitations.
All-session tickets for the 2016 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic will go on sale Monday, Oct. 3, at 9 a.m. HST. Individual session tickets will go on sale Monday, Oct. 10, at 9 a.m. HST. Each day has two sessions, which includes two games.
Fans can purchase online at www.eTicketHawaii.com and print them on their home computer. Phone orders can be placed by calling (808) 944-2697 (Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

The tournament tips off Thursday, Dec. 22, with Tulsa (The American) pitted against Stephen F. Austin (Southland) at 11:30 a.m. HT on ESPNU, immediately followed by San Diego State (Mountain West) versus Southern Miss (C-USA) at 2 p.m. on ESPN2. Thursday's evening session will feature San Francisco (West Coast) versus Utah (PAC 12) at 6 p.m. on ESPNU and wrap with a battle between Illinois State (Missouri Valley) and tournament host Hawai'i (Big West) at 8:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
