HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Nine different Southern Miss players are currently on rosters in the National Football League. Here is a quick look at their first week results and second week matchups:
Chris Clark, Houston -- Helped a Texans offensive line rack up 396 yards of total offense and 20 points in last weekend's 27-20 loss to Kansas City. (This week -- at Carolina, 12 noon/CBS)
Jamie Collins, New England -- Started at linebacker and recorded six tackles for the defending Super Bowl Champions in last week's 28-21 victory against Pittsburgh. (This week -- at Buffalo, 12 noon/CBS)
Austin Davis, Cleveland -- Did not participate in last week's 31-10 loss against the New York Jets. (This week- Tennessee, 12 noon/CBS)
Demar Dotson, Tampa Bay -- Sat out of last week's 42-14 loss to Tennessee due to a knee sprain. (This week -- at New Orleans, 12 noon/FOX)
Lamar Holmes, Atlanta -- Sat out of last week's 26-24 win against Philadelphia due to a broken foot. Holmes was placed on Atlanta's PUP list in mid June. (This week -- at New York Giants, 12 noon/FOX)
