Golden Eagle Experiences Added to Southern Miss Gameday App

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - In 2014 Southern Miss Athletics stepped up their gameday experience by joining forces with IMG and SportsLabs to develop the Southern Miss Gameday App. This cutting edge app includes free audio for Football, Men's and Women's Basketball and Baseball games plus the ability to integrate with the Southern Miss Social Media platforms, provide interactive maps and valuable gameday information.
New for 2015, Southern Miss Fans have exclusive access to our new Golden Eagle Experiences program, which offers once-in-a-lifetime experiences at Southern Miss home games this season. These experiences are an integral part of the Southern Miss Gameday App and will further enhance the fan experience. From walking with the team in Eagle Walk to having exclusive pre-game field access, Golden Eagle Experiences will provide fans with unprecedented access to numerous experiences via the Southern Miss Gameday app. Additionally, 2015 Southern Miss Football season ticket holders that sign up by Aug. 30 will be give free Golden Eagle Experiences credits that they can use when purchasing experiences.
What types of experiences are offered?
• Eagle Walk with the Team: Ever wanted to walk down the Eagle Walk with the team? With this exclusive experience, you and a guest get to join the Southern Miss Football Team during the Eagle Walk!
• Locker Room Tour - Friday: See the Rock dressed for gameday. This exclusive behind the scenes experience allows you to take pictures on the field and tour the locker room already prepared for the game.
• Pre-Game Field Access: Gain pregame field access, take photos at midfield and soak up the experience of standing on the playing surface at M.M. Roberts Stadium while the Golden Eagles warm-up.
• Shoot the T-shirt Gun: Become an honorary member of the Southern Miss Sports Marketing Team by shooting the T-shirt Gun during a timeout in the First Half!
• Have Seymour Visit Your Tailgate: Think you have the best Southern Miss Tailgate? Prove it to all your friends by having Seymour and two Southern Miss Cheerleaders stop by for a visit prior to the game!

How to Use Golden Eagle Experiences
• Register in the "Upgrades" section of the Southern Miss Gameday app (available to download for free in the Apple iTunes or Google Play stores) or go to southernmiss.com/experiences on your iPhone or Android phone
• Select the upcoming home game you'll be attending
• Enter your info and submit your registration - If you are a Season Ticket Holder, be sure to use the email address on your account!
• Once inventory becomes available, you will receive a text message alert
• Click on the link in the text message to browse and purchase your Golden Eagle Experience with a credit card
• At the game, head back to the "Upgrades" section of the Southern Miss Gameday app or visit southernmiss.com/experiences on your phone to redeem your purchase, and enjoy!
