Report: Southern Miss football finished its first two-a-day practice session with a light workout on the game field at M.M. Roberts Stadium. The Golden Eagles returned to The Rock for practice in the evening for just under 90 minutes in shorts and helmets. The evening practice featured a faster tempo with an emphasis on in-game situations.
Next Game: vs. Mississippi State (9 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 5, Fox Sports 1)
