17th Annual Beach Bash Slated for this Friday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The 17th Gulf Coast Beach Bash, sponsored by the Gulf Coast Metro Chapter of the Southern Miss Alumni Association, will be held Friday, July 24, beginning at 6 p.m., at Hardy Hall at the university's Gulf Park Campus (730 East Beach Blvd.) in Long Beach.
Golden Eagle football coach Todd Monken, assistant coaches, selected football players, Seymour and the Southern Miss cheerleaders will all be on hand to meet alumni and friends. Monken will also speak on this season during the event.
This family-friendly event will features include a funland for children, a photo booth and a silent auction. Proceeds from the event benefit the chapter's scholarship endowment for local students attending Southern Miss.
Tickets are $15 per adult and $7 per child. Dinner is included in the ticket purchase. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
