Football, Cheerleaders to Visit Batson Children's Hospital

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Members of the Southern Miss football team and cheerleading squad will take a visit to Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson on Thursday as part of the Touchdowns and Tiaras celebration.
Golden Eagle football players, along with the cheerleaders and Seymour will be visiting from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Players, cheer and Seymour will also be helping with the activity booths set up by Batson Children's Hospital and will have a chance to interact with all the kids there.
Southern Miss alumna Hanna Roberts, who is the current Miss Mississippi, will be in attendance as well.
Following the visit at Batson Children's hospital, the football team, cheerleaders and Seymour will head to the 32nd Annual Jackson All-Star Party presented by C Spire Wireless, and sponsored by the Central Mississippi Chapter of the Southern Miss Alumni Association. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Mississippi Trade Mart (1207 Mississippi Street).
This family friendly event will feature a fun land for children, live music and a silent auction with proceeds from the event going to support the chapter's scholarship endowment for local students. Tickets are $5 per person or $10 per family. Food will be available for purchase, and children ages 12 and under eat free with adult food purchase.
Tickets may be pre-purchased at the door.
