Football Hosts Annual Pro Day

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Six former Southern Miss football players, along with a representative from Jones County Junior College, participated in Pro Day on Friday in front of a large group of NFL scouts. The seven NFL hopefuls participated in the broad jump, vertical jump, bench press, 40-yard dash and various position drills.
Among the Golden Eagles who weighed, jumped, lifted and ran today: Nic Bekkers, Emmanuel Johnson, Dasman McCullum and Adam Williams. Corey Acosta kicked field goals and simulated kickoffs, while Rakeem Nunez-Roches, the junior who performed at the NFL Combine, participated only in defensive line drills.
Jamal Young, a defensive end / linebacker from Jones County JC, also took part in the Southern Miss Pro Day.
