Softball Doubleheader at Ole Miss Postponed Due to Weather

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss softball doubleheader set for Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Ole Miss, has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions caused by the wintry weather in the Oxford, Miss. area.
The two teams will make up the doubleheader on Wednesday, April 15, in Oxford. The new games between Southern Miss and Ole Miss is slated to begin at 4:00 p.m. with game two tentatively slated for 6:30 p.m.
Southern Miss returns to action this weekend when they travel to Gulfport, Miss. for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Softball Classic. The Golden Eagles begin the tournament with a single game against Incarnate Word on Friday at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, the Black and Gold square off against Jackson State (3:00 p.m.) and Nicholls (8:00 p.m.).
