Getting to Know... Christian Clark

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- As the countdown for the season-opener approaches, a Southern Miss men's basketball player will be featured each day in preparation for the 2015-16 season. The Golden Eagles open the season on the road against former Conference USA rival Memphis on Saturday, Nov. 14.
With 11 days until tipoff for the regular season, freshman guard Christian Clark is featured.
Clark played point guard and shooting guard at Hattiesburg High School in Hattiesburg, Miss. before finishing his career at Mack Prep Academy in Charlotte N.C. He helped the Tigers to 42 victories in three seasons, leading Hattiesburg HS to the Division Championship as a sophomore and as a junior. Clark amassed 330 points in prep career with 180 rebounds with 165 assists. He was voted Coca- Cola Classic All-Tournament Team and also Ironton Classic All-Tournament Team.
Off the court, Clark was an honor student and member of the Student Government in high school. He is currently majoring in sport management.
