Southern Miss and UTEP Get Into Halloween Spirit Saturday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss and UTEP will get into the Halloween spirit here this Saturday when the two schools get together for their Conference USA West Division football meeting.
In the spirit of the day, the Golden Eagles will wear their traditional home black uniforms, while UTEP will sport all orange to represent Halloween's two primary colors.
Southern Miss and UTEP received special permission from Conference USA to allow the Miners to wear their orange uniforms for Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m., Saturday, at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at M.M. Roberts Stadium.
Prior to the game, the Department of Athletics plays host to Seymour's Spectacular Halloween Carnival, from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at Pride Field which is free and open to fans of all ages. There will be exciting carnival rides, games, candy and the first 400 children will be able to decorate a pumpkin during this event. Costume winners from the carnival will also be recognized during the game.
In addition, it is Take a Kid to the Game on Saturday and a child age 12 and under can receive free admission with the purchase of an adult game ticket by mentioning "Take a Kid."
