Southern Miss, Louisiana-Lafayette Set to Play Doubleheader Saturday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Due to expected inclement weather Sunday, officials from both Southern Miss and Louisiana-Lafayette have agreed to push up the final game of the scheduled three-game baseball series to Saturday and the teams will now play a day-night doubleheader at Pete Taylor Park.

The first game will take place at 1 p.m., as originally scheduled while the nightcap is slated to start at 7:30 p.m., following the Golden Eagles' 5 p.m., basketball game at Reed Green Coliseum versus UTEP.

Tickets for the UL Lafayette Sunday contest can be used for the second game of the doubleheader Saturday night.
